Local folks working together to preserve local land.

We love living here too.

Ohio is known for its rich farmland, forests and wetlands, but rapid development and poor land use practices are threatening the rural character of our countryside, as well as its natural habitats and the quality of our air and water. The Killbuck Watershed Land Trust (KWLT) is an established and trusted organization working with landowners and conservation partners to protect the farmland and open spaces in our communities so that future generations can love living here as much as we do.

We lose 2 million acres of farms, forests and open spaces, and an additional 100,000 acres of wetlands each year.

KWLT Protected Farms
